I used to advertise on VRBO, HA and VR. However they are owned by Expedia and want to charge you a fee to rent our home and not tell you it is them charging the fee! No fees here! This 2600 square foot, home , was completed in Dec 2012 !
It is located is on 3.8 private, open acres, with 180 degree, mountain and valley views! This home was designed for vacation rentals, so friends or families, can have their own space, and bathroom, yet gather for meals, and time together, inside or outside.

Our home is clutter free, with empty closets, & drawers.
We provide all linens, towels, starter TP, paper towels, as well as soap and shampoo, just like a hotel.
Yet this home, has everything you need, to cook a fabulous meal and make it your home away!
The home, is only 2 miles, walking , biking, or running distance to shopping, fine dinning, recreation and fun!

Each floor, of this home, is a full private suite, with in suite bathrooms & sitting areas !
With multiple places to eat, from great street venders, to many family dining options, and fine romantic dining, Manchester, is the Center, for food, outlet shopping, golf, biking, skiing, hiking, site seeing, hunting, fishing, walking, running, bird watching, wild life, farms and more.

Riley Rink at Hunter Park & Fairgrounds, is less than 1/4 mile offering winter and summer ice skating, hockey games, craft fairs, carnivals, solar fairs, and entertainment.

Walk or drive to Manchester Recreations, Dana Thompson Park, has baseball, football & soccer fields, walking paths, tennis, a new indoor pool under construction, dog park, , basketball courts, swings, slides and skateboard park .

When you stay here, you also have easy access to skiing at Bromley Mountain, you can see the top of Bromley from the deck! Offering winter family skiing, and summer fun, mini golf, slides, zip lines, adventure rides, and more, only 7 miles!
Stratton Mountain is 14 miles, with Magic Mountain 18 miles .

The historic Robert Todd Lincoln's estate, Hildene, is 4 miles and offer's x crountry skiing in the winter and hiking trails in the summer.

The Golf Club at The Equinox, is less than 3 miles and offers some of the best golf VT has to offer. Plus there are several other golf courses within a 30 mile radius.

Merck Forest is a wonderful preserve that offers, beginner to expert, x-country ski trails in the winter, hiking, farm tours, and all kinds of events in the summer.

The Orvis Flagship store, and their outlet store, are only 3 miles south on Main Street,( Route 7A), with indoor and outdoor trout ponds, and the unique outdoor, and indoor equipment, clothing and furniture.

Take a beautiful drive up Route 30 along the Mettowee Valley through beautiful open farm country, to Lake St Catherine, about 30 minutes or Lake Bomoseen 40 minutes.

There is apple picking in the fall and farmers markets every Thursday during the summer.

'The Quarry' in Dorset on Route 30 is a different type of swimming and sun bathing location.

The Dorset Theatre, 9 miles , offers many plays in this cozy, intimate and historic location. The Weston Playhouse, also offers great plays and events and is only a 30 minute drive.
Both these nearby towns have many dining and shopping, options as well!

There are many local and nearby antique shops , and consignment shops offering interesting and unique shopping.

About Andrew Hello, I own and operate www.asafeplace.com and work 7 days a week to support my family. My wife works at a local bank, we have two wonderful grown children and now we have two fantastic grand children.

Why This Property?

We wanted to build an accessible vacation rental home, as our relative became a paraplegic from a lacrosse accident in college. We know what people with disabilities have to go through when they travel, and we wanted our home accessible so anyone can stay here and enjoy Vermont.

Unique Benefits:

Manchester has it all, from outdoor food venders, to fine dinning and everything in between. We now have a subway and a Star Bucks as well. There is so much to do while enjoying all that Manchester and the surrounding area has to offer, from Merck Forest and Farmland center, to Rober Todd Lincoln's ( Abe Lincolns Grandsons Home) Hildene. Come to Manchester and enjoy all there is to enjoy from Downhill skiing and Snowboarding at Bromely Mountain or Stratton, to bicycling, hiking, golf, tennis, fishing, it is all here or nearby.
