The beachfront includes a "great lawn" with yoga classes every morning and monthly free live concerts and free movies on Friday nights. There's also an interactive fountain for kids, a concession stand including adult beverages, rental bikes, first-come first serve oceanfront charcoal grills and clean restrooms. It’s a short walk to dozens of great local restaurants, shops, boat rentals, diving/snorkeling boats, party and charter fishing boats, day spa, gym, pharmacy, banks and more.
Sunny Place is centrally located in the safe, ocean-side community of Pompano Beach, 15 minutes north of downtown Fort Lauderdale and 15 minutes south of Boca Raton. It’s a five-minute drive to the new Pompano CitiCenter shopping mall, movie theaters, state-of-the-art tennis and aquatics complex, dog park, air park for private planes and the Goodyear Blimp base, 36-hole city golf facility with its new (Jan 2013) Greg Norman signature course and driving range. The smoke-free ISLE Casino, next door to Pompano Harness Track, is a 15-minute drive. I-95 is a 10-minute drive for easy access to all South Florida business centers, shopping and attractions.
