You’ll love our place because of the location and the outdoors space. Just a short drive to the beach, downtown Venice and all the major stores and restaurants on the Jacaranda Avenue. WALMART SUPER-CENTER is in 5 minutes drive. A great selection of restaurants, plenty of shopping and convenient grocery stores.

Our house, comfortable for 4 persons (max. 5), and extensively equipped, is on quiet street in established safe neighborhood with friendly residents and in close proximity to the Gulf shore (5 minutes drive to the FERRY for the private South Venice beach or 10 minutes drive to the Manasota Public Beach with bathrooms and showers facilities, grilles, etc; Venice Sharky's beach is located about 5 miles away), restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities, nightlife and is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers and families. Everything, except food is included :-).

We have Cable TV and WiFi INTERNET service, COMPUTER, Music Center. There are 3 NEW Flat Screen TV sets. The large TV (connected with Cable service) is in the living room, the other 2 sets are in guest bedrooms connected to VCRs. We also have DVD player, a collection of VHS tapes with movies and CDs.

SPECIAL NOTE: Short Term Rental Agreement MUST BE SIGNED before reservation can be completed. NO PETS, NO YOUNG KIDS, please. NO SMOKING. Primary renters must be at least 25 y.o.

BOOKING PROCEDURE: Guests are welcome to inquire first about the availability. The Owner will answer all inquiries and questions and will let Guests know if their stay could be be accepted.

Then Guests should send RESERVATION for ONLY the 1-ST NIGHT STAY. Owner will accept this reservation and the Guest will PAY FOR THE 1-ST NIGHT stay to VRBO with all applicable taxes and fees (like cleaning fee, occupancy tax, site's service fee for only 1 night and refundable security deposit). This way Guests will pay less in service fees to VRBO. After it gets Guest's payment for the 1st night stay it will release the Guest's contact information to the Owner.

The Owner will email the Guest rental forms, including Short Term Rental Agreement (as an attachment) which the Guest will fill and sign, then will send to the Owner these documents with the rental balance (could be split in 2 installments if reserving at least a couple of months in advance) in the form of personal check or the payment could be accepted through PayPal. If Guests prefer to pay the whole rental amount quoted with all the taxes and VRBO service fees to this site, then the owner will not give any discounts from the quoted price.

The taxes will be added to the base rental rate. The Tourist Development Tax (also referred to as tourist tax, bed tax or resort tax) is a 5% charge on the revenue from all rentals of six months or less. This tax is in addition to the state sales tax (7% in Sarasota County). The state sales tax is sent to the Florida Department of Revenue. The local Tourist Development Tax is sent to the Sarasota County Tax Collector.

The owner will also sign received Short Term Rental Agreement and executed copy of the agreement will be provided to the Guest with information about the CODE for the lock box on the front door to get the key from the side door of the house.

UNIQUENESS OF THE PLACE: We leave for our renters' use the FERRY ACCESS PASS (good for the family of 5) to get on the unique 25 persons Ferry to the private South Venice BEACH on the Manasota Island. Enjoy wonderful secluded private sandy beach, bikes paths and local places for kayaking.

SOUTH VENICE BEACH (in the trust of South Venice) offers its private FERRY SERVICE to a deeded stretch of sandy beach on Manasota Key. There is a BOAT RAMP in proximity. South Venice Beach is a home to numerous PARKS, including SHAMROCK PARK which is a well-known pride of this area and Sarasota County, with its TENNIS AND BASKETBALL COURTS, PLAYGROUND, BUTTERFLY GARDEN, CLUBHOUSE, NATURE TRAILS along Alligator Creek, nature walks within the LEMON BAY PRESERVE.

BIKE along the Intracoastal Venetian Waterway to the Legacy Trail - 10 mile bike path right into Sarasota! See Top Venice Sights by Bicycle! Book 5-Star Rated Bike Tours on Viator or rent Bikes (Helmets, Locks and Baskets are Included with bikes rental on Ridevenice).

Enjoy the quaint downtown area of Venice with shoppes, casual dining and Beautiful Venice Beach nearby. South Venice is almost adjacent to Englewood area (in the south). People from both cities use the same 4 beaches on Manasota Key barrier island.

The Historic Venice avenue of unique shops, restaurants, special events, Farmer's Market, Tennis courts and Children's Fountain are not far away. Manasota Beach, Caspersen Beach, Sharky's and Fisherman's Pier are only in a few minutes driving. Venice Beach and the Jetty's are close too and will give you the perfect experience of what South Florida should be.

Plenty of down town shopping and restaurants to guarantee everyone will find what they like. A great getaway for couples, solo adventurers, and families.

FAMOUS miracle healing waters of WARM MINERAL SPRINGS in NORTH PORT, FL is not far away from our place (​25 minutes drive). It is the 2nd biggest warm water mineral spring in the western hemisphere! The legal classification of a mineral spring varies in different parts of the world but it is generally accepted that it must contain greater than 100 PPM (parts per million) of naturally dissolved solids.

Warm Mineral Springs water contains a total of 17,349 ppm of minerals, including magnesium, silica, sulfate, chloride, sodium, carbon dioxide, potassium, and bicarbonate, among others, making it the highest in the U.S. and the 3rd highest in the world. Warm Mineral Springs also has a steady pH of 7.3.

Nobody ever smoked in our house, which we purchased in 2014 from the original owners who took great care of it. The inside of the house was recently PAINTED. Many upgrades were made, like NEW BATH TUB with new PLUMBING FIXTURES, NEW efficient TOILET.

MASTER BEDROOM's Queen size bed has expensive newer mattress, chest of drawers, shelf and small table with a lamp.

The first GUEST BEDROOM has two Twin size beds with newer comfortable mattresses, chest of drawers, and small table with a lamp. There is a flat TV and Video player there.

The THIRD BEDROOM has King size bed with expensive NEW pillow-top mattress, chest of drawers and two small tables with 2 lamps. There is a flat TV there also.

Cozy KITCHEN has white cabinets, new refrigerator, as new coil electric stove, reverse osmosis filter under the kitchen sink, a table with 4 chairs and chest of drawers.

Large FAMILY ROOM has 2 Lazy-boy chairs, sofa and chest of drawers with VHS tapes, etc. There are also large flat TV, COMPUTER with monitor, desk, rolling black leather chair.

Updated UTILITY ROOM with newly tiled floor has water heater, dryer, new front load washer machine, new deep sink and upgraded with tiles and new plumbing fixtures (large shower head) SHOWER STAND.

SCREENED and fully shaded, cozy LANAI has outdoor furniture (dining table, 4 patio chairs and lounge).

CARPORT is available for parking your car by the side of the house.

The house was built on a DOUBLE LOT and there is half-fenced yard with Palm Trees, young Citrus Trees (some already producing fruits) and landscaped with tropical plants.

The house was recently upgraded with expensive WATER FILTRATION and WATER SOFTENING system, NEW PRESSURE TANK and new REVERSE OSMOSIS big PUMP and CARBON FILTER were installed (over $2,000). Plus there is REVERSE OSMOSIS FILTER under the kitchen sink.

The UTILITY ROOM was recently TILED, SHOWER STALL was updated with NEW TILES and NEW FIXTURES with wide shower head, added NEW DEEP SINK with CABINET and PLUMBING FIXTURES.

SEWER TANK was EMPTIED in APRIL and cast iron SEWER PIPE leading to the tank was JETTED (polished from the inside) and for future cleanings the outlet pipe was installed (paid over $2,000). Used toilet paper, etc. should be thrown into the waste basket for further disposal into the garbage to prevent clogging of the sewer pipe.

PEST CONTROL contract exists from 03.21.16 when ORKIN made its 1st preventative treatment of the property (inside & outside) according with the quarterly treatments contract.
