Big Family River House on the Trinity River with trail to river, big decks, river views, shade & sun, and lots of fun! The main home has 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and a loft with a queen bed as well as a sleeper sofa in the living room. Two full baths (one upstairs and one downstairs). Sleeps 8 comfortably. Then one separate unit (for an additional fee) has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with 2 full beds. Also a 3 bedroom mobile home that sleeps up to 12 with three bedrooms, 1 full bed and two queens, a sleeper sofa in the living room and two bunk beds in the living room as well! There is a rental fee for the house, an additional fee for the 2nd unit, and another fee for the 3rd unit, which is a mobile home with it's own kitchen as well. We rent the 2nd and 3rd units only as additions to the main house rental. This home is just about 1 mile outside of Willow Creek right on the Trinity River. Trinity River can be great fun for swimming, fishing, tubing, and just relaxing. When we walk down the trail, through the shade, to the beach, you are welcomed by a big grassy field and plnety of spots to enter the river. Nice areas to sit by the river. If entering the river, you must be super careful for strong currents, etc. You are about 1 mile from Big Rock park on the river where you can drive down and then float down to your home, if conditions are right. We have some tubes at the house and an air compressor for you to quickly fill them up for fun on the river! The big bbq is great and there is plenty of seating out on the deck, and a firepit for you to enjoy in the evening. The house has plenty of fans and was built in a way for good air flow and to stay cool during the day. Willow Creek has rafting companies and various restaurants and a market for food, etc, and a nice farmer's market in season as well. Of course it goes without saying that this is the home of Bigfoot and we have a Bigfoot Museum to prove it! Lots of great hiking nearby and plenty of state and federal parks. And, you are less than 45 minutes away from Arcata and the coast. Great day trips to the beaches of Trinidad or the Lagoons (kayak rentals available at Stone Lagoon through KayakZaks.com) and Prairie Creek Redwoods National Park, which includes Fern Canyon and over one hundred miles of trails through the majestic Redwoods, Lady Bird Johnson Park, Talls Trees trail to Redwood Creek, and plenty of wildlife including Roosevelt Elk, is about 45 minutes from Arcata. You can also head south to Victorian Ferndale, Old Town Eureka, Sequoia Zoo and the Fairgrounds,
