Peony House in Anna Maria City is an elevated vacation home with that same bright and inviting quality. From the moment you pull into the shell drive way and take a deep breath of the island air, you’ll feel blissfully far away from it all. You can bring up to four cars to the vacation home and they’ll all be protected from the elements.

Once inside, you’ll be delighted by the mix of Old Florida and island casual décor. Much of the furniture is wood with a comfy set of couches and chair in the living room. Bookshelves built into the wall invite you to leave behind your beach read for the next guests - one of the oldest and favorite of traditions for any sort of vacation home. A flat screen will keep you entertained during the occasional Florida thunderstorm. Or chat and Skype with everyone back home over a free wireless internet connection.

In the bedrooms you’ll find soothing shades of sage, lavender, and sand on the walls with a king, queen, double, and set of twins to accommodate up to ten happy and well rested vacationers. This is also one of our Premium Linens Property, stocking all three bedrooms with fluffy hotel quality towels and the beds are made up in high count sheets. A set is even provided for the living room’s queen sleeper sofa.

The kitchen is spacious and beautiful with its updated, stainless steel appliances and plenty of room for the hustle and bustle of your family and friends. Dishwasher, microwave, flattop top stove, and coffee maker will help you whip up whatever your stomach is growling on vacation. The side by side fridge has more than enough room for your favorite island goodies. Including takeout boxes of favorite local fare – Slim’s famous lobster mac and cheese is waiting for you right around the corner or pick up a fresh deli sandwich from the Anna Maria Island General Store.

The open air patio wrapping around the front of Peony House is a lovely retreat for morning coffee. Watch dog walkers and the neighborhood slowly wake up in the morning. Or maybe toast the sunset with umbrella cocktails. We’ve got some pretty famous skies on Anna Maria Island. Key West is simply kidding itself – this is home of the sunset.
